Questions worth asking
Where does my donation actually go?
96 paise of every rupee reaches programmes in the field. The remaining 4% covers audit, compliance and payment fees. Annual reports and audited statements are published each June.
Can I volunteer if I only have a few hours a month?
Yes! We offer flexible weekend and evening volunteer shifts for community teaching, event coordination, and logistics.
Do you accept in-kind donations?
We accept bulk educational materials, medical supplies, blankets, and dry food rations. Please reach out through our contact form to coordinate drop-offs.
Is my contribution tax-deductible?
Yes, all donations are 100% tax-exempt under 80G. You will receive an official tax receipt via email immediately upon contribution.
How do you choose which villages to work in?
We conduct baseline surveys in collaboration with local district administrations and village sarpanches to identify communities with acute needs.
